Reading - Teacher shows a model of a short paragraph about a film review. Then recalls students’ knowledge on the structure of a paragraph My favourite film is the Harry Potter series. It is based on one of the best selling novels. They are fantasy and fiction films about the wizard named Harry Potter and his friends: Ron and Hermione. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint starred in this film. I like this film and I find it gripping, moving and funny, too. While writing - Teacher tells students to make a film review about their favorite movie in Task 4. - Teacher allows students time to write a paragraph (about 80 words) about their favorite film, using the suggested ideas/ information in Task 4. - Teacher goes around and helps if needed. V. Post listen and write - Teacher calls some students to read their “writing” ( t may show their writing on the TV/ projectors) - Students then give comments to each other. - Teacher then gives feedback as a class discussion.
