  1. WEEK 30 Period 117 Tuesday, April 11th 2023 UNIT 18: WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TOMORROW? Lesson 1: 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic: Weather. - Ask and answer questions about the weather, using What will the weather be like tomorrow? – It will be . and - Develop Ss listening and speaking skills. II.Language focus. 1. Vocabulary: forecast, foggy, cold, hot, warm, cool, . 2. Sentence Patterns: + What’s the weather like today? - It’s............and .. + What will the weather be like tomorrow? – It will be ....... and ...... III. Teaching aids. - Equipments in English room. - Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Procedures. Teacher’s activities Students’ activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? Good morning/ afternoon! B. warm up. - Play a game: slap the board ( sunny/ rainy/ cloudy/ windy/ snowy.....) - Play the game.

Objectives: After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic: Weather - Listen to the recording and circle to complete the sentences. - Play the game: Making sentences. - Develop 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. II. Language focus 1. Vocabulary: review: 2. Sentence Patterns: review + What’s the weather like today? - It’s............and .. + What will the weather be like tomorrow? – It will be ....... and ...... III. Teaching aids. - Equipments in English room. - Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Procedures. Teacher’s activities Students’ activities A. Class organization. Listen and circle a, b or c. - Tell Ss that they are going to listen to the recording and circle to complete the sentences. - Listen to the recording the first time. - Play the recording for Students to listen. - Listen again and complete. - Ask Ss to listen again and do the task - Give the answers. - Have them give answers. - Play the recording again for Ss to listen and check. - Others correct, remark. - Give correct answers: - Ss repeat the recording. 1. b 2. a 3. c 5.
