- WEEK 24 Period 93 Monday, March 3rd 2024 UNIT 14: WHAT HAPPENED IN THE STORY? Lesson 3 (1, 2, 3) I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic: Talking about stories. - Say questions and answers with the correct intonation. - Develop Ss listening skill. II.Language focus. 1. Vocabulary: review: younger, older,greedy, think 2. Sentence Patterns: review + What do you think of ? I think he’s/ she’s/ it’s . III. Teaching aids. - Equipments in English room. - Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Produres. Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? Good morning/ afternoon! B.Warm up. - Play the game: Storytelling. - Play the game. C. New lesson. 1. Listen and repeat.
- - Tell the class that they are going to practice saying the question and answers which have falling intonation. - Listen to teacher’s explaination - Ask Ss to look at the book and listen. - Play the recording for Ss listen again. - Listen to the recording. - Call some Ss listen and repeat the words and then the sentences. - Listen and repeat. - Others give comments. - Give comments. - Correct mistakes of pronounciation. 2. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic: Talking about stories. - Say questions and answers with the correct intonation. - Develop Ss reading and writing skill. II.Language focus. 1. Vocabulary: review: younger, older,greedy, think 2. Sentence Patterns: review + What do you think of ? I think he’s/ she’s/ it’s . III. Lesson 1 (1, 2,3) I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: -Using the words and phrases related to the topic : Future plans II. LANGUAGE CONTENT - The vocabulary: pilot, writer, - The structure: - What’s would you like to be in the future? - I’d like to be a/ an........ III. TEACHING AIDS Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette.
