  1. WEEK 31 Period 121 Tuesday, April 18th 2023 UNIT 18: WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TOMORROW? Lesson 3: 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic: weather and seasons. - Say questions and answers with the correct intonation. - Develop Ss listening skill. II. Language focus. 1. Vocabulary: review: 2. Sentence Patterns: review III. Teaching aids. - Equipments in English room. - Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Procedures. Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? Good morning/ afternoon! B. Warm up. - Sing the song: The weather song - Sing the song C. New lesson. 1. Listen and repeat. - Tell the class that they are going to practice saying the questions and answers - Listen to teacher’s explaination with the correct intonation.
  2. - Ask Ss to look at the book and listen. - Play the recording for Ss listen again. - Listen to the recording. - Call some Ss listen and repeat the words and then the sentences. - Listen and repeat. - Others give comments. - Give comments. - Correct mistakes of pronounciation. 2. II.Language focus. 1. Vocabulary: dry, wet. 2. Sentence Patterns: review III. Teaching aids. - Equipments in English room.
  4. - Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Procedures. Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? Good morning/ afternoon! B. Warm up. - Spend a few minutes having the class say the chant: What will the weather be - Say the chant. like tomorrow? C. New lesson. 4. Read and do the tasks 4.1. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Using the words and phrases related to the topic: Places to visit and Opinions on places. II. Language focus. - The vocabulary: pagoda, beautiful, museum,... - The structure: Which place would you like to visit, .... or ....? I’d like to visit......

Warm up. - Having the class read the chant “What will the weather be like tomorrow?” - Play game - Invite two or three groups to say the chant and do actions in front of the class before introducing Lesson 1. C. New lesson. 1. Look, listen and repeat. - Tell the pupils that they are going to -Look at the pictures and give the practise talking about the outdoor activities answers and Ask Ss look at the picture and answer the questions ?
