  1. WEEK 32 Period 125 Monday, April 24th 2023 UNIT 19: WHICH PLACE WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT? Lesson 2: 1, 2, 3 I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Using the words and phrases related to the topic: Places to visit and Opinions on places. II. Language focus. - The vocabulary: island, West Lake, expected,... - The structure: - What did you do yesterday? I visited .... - What do you think of it? It’s more .... than I expected. III. Teaching aids. Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV. Procedures. Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? B. Lesson 2: 4, 5, 6 I. Objectives. After the lesson, Ss will be able to: -Ask and answer questions about Places to visit and Opinions on places.

When time is over, invite a few Ss to read their sentences aloud and put them on the board. D. Language focus. - The vocabulary: - The structure: - Which place would you like to visit, .... or ....? - I’d like to visit ..... - What do you think of .....? - It’s more.... than I expected. III. Teaching aids. Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette. IV.Procedures. Teacher’s activities Student’s activities A. Class organization. Good morning/ afternoon! Good morning/ afternoon! Who is absent today? B. Warm up. - Chatting with students - Answer the questions Where were you last week? What did you do there? Which place would you like to visit? What do you think of there? - Listen to teacher`s explaination C. New lesson.
  7. 1.Listen and repeat. -Tell the class that they are going to practice the questions and answer. Tell them to pay attention to the intonation of the sentences. - Listen to the recording. -Ask Students to look at the book and listen - Play the recording for Ss listen again - Listen and repeat. -Call some Students listen and repeat - Others give comments. - T gives comments. - Correct mistakes of sentence intonation. 2. Listen and mark the sentence - Listen and mark. intonation . Then say the sentences aloud. -Tell Students that they are going to listen and mark the intonation of each sentence. Show them how to mark the sentence intonation by writing the questions and answers on the board and mark them with arrows. -Play the recording for Students to listen -Give answers -Ask Students to listen again and do the task -Listen and mark -Ask Students to give answers -Play the recording again for Students to listen and mark 3.Let`s chant - Tell classthat they are going to say the chant Where do you think of it ? -Look at the book and listen - Play the recording all the way through for Ss to listen and follow in their books. - Play the recording again, pausing after -Listen and repeat each line for Ss to repeat.

They can use more than one picture for each place if they want. - Set a time limit for them to do the task - Invite some Students to present their drawings to the class and talk about them. - Give feedback 7.Colour the stars. - Colour the stars -Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension -Give the time to colour the star and invite a few Students to read the statement aloud -Give further support to Students who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives.
