  1. WEEK 5 Period 17 Teaching date: Monday, October 2nd 2023. UNIT 3: WHERE DID YOU GO ON HOLIDAY? Lesson 3: 1, 2 (P.20) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, Ps will be able to pronounce three – syllable words with the stress on the first syllable ‘motorbike; ‘underground; ‘holiday and ‘family. * Language contents: 1. Vocabulary: Review (Practise saying three – syllable words with the stress on the first syllable). 2. Structure: Review 3. Skills: listening, speaking and reading. II. Teaching methods: - Communicative approach. - Techniques: + Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups. + Discuss. III. Teaching aids: 1. Teacher: pupil’s and teacher’s book, picture, CD, cassette and falshcards. 2. Pupils: book, notebook, workbook. IV. Procedures: Teacher’s activities Pupils’s activities A. Class organization. Have them practise chanting and doing actions in groups. Invite two or three groups to say the chant and do actions. D. Consolidation: Repeat the way to pronounce three – syllable words with the stress on the first Ps listen and repeat syllable. Ask Ps find more examples. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to - Read the text and complete the sentences by the tick Yes or No. - Write about your friend and make a plan. * Language contents: 1. Vocabulary: Review 2. Structure: Review 3. Skills: listening, speaking and reading. II. Teaching methods: - Communicative approach. - Techniques: + Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups. + Discuss. III. Teaching aids: 1. SS will be able to: - Use the words and phrases related to the topic Past activitives. - Ask and answer questions about whether someone did something, using Did you ? Yes, I did/ No, I don’t. * Language contents: 1. Vocabulary: enjoy, join, funfair, chat, cartoon, past simple of irregular verbs: did, had, ate, went, sang. 2. Structure: Did you ? Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. 3. Skills: listening, speaking and reading. II. Teaching methods: - Communicative approach. - Techniques: + Ask and answer (say individually) + Work in pairs/ groups. + Discuss. III. Teaching aids: 1. Yes, I did/ No, I don’t. * Language contents: 1. Vocabulary: enjoy, join, funfair, chat, cartoon, past simple of irregular verbs: did, had, ate, went, sang. 2. Structure: Did you ? Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. 3. Skills: listening, speaking and reading. II.
