- Teadate: 7A1 , 7A3 UNIT 6: A VISIT TO SCHOOL Period 43. Lesson 6: SKILLS_2 I. OBJECTIVES:By the end of this lesson, students will be able to gain the following things 1. Knowledge: - Listen for general and specific information about school activities. - Write a paragraph about outdoor activities at one’s school. + Vocabulary: Use the words related to the topic A visit to a school ( Schools, school facilities, and school activities ) - pronounce the sounds /tʃ/ and /dʒ/ correctly; + Grammar: - Use the prepositions of time and place; 2. Competence: Students will be able to learn how to improve two skills. - Develop communication skills and cultural awareness. - Be cooperative and supportive in pair work and teamwork. - Actively join in class activities. 3. Qualities: - To educate the love for school, school activities. - Ss have the good attitude to working in groups, individual work, pairwork, cooperative learning. - Develop self-study skills. II. WARM UP & INTRODUCTION ( 5’) Aim: To activate Ss’ knowledge of the topic of the listening text. * Content: Having some warm-up activities to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to inspire Ss to warm up to the new lesson . * Outcome: Having a chance to speak English and focus on the new lesson. * Organisation : Teacher’s instructions .
